Congratulations! You've made it to the Final 18 and the second swap!

You're probably busy socializing with your new tribemates, but when you get a chance, answer these questions! Or don't!

1. So yeah, we swapped tribes. Who are you excited to see? Who do you hate to see?

2. At this point, there are nine new players in the game and nine returnees, and even split. Do you see the game as returnee vs. newbie or have the lines blurred?

3. Do the partnerships play a role in your voting strategy, at this point? Are you trying to split up partnerships, leverage them for votes, or not really thinking about it?

1. So yeah, we swapped tribes. Who are you excited to see? Who do you hate to see?

As soon as we returned to camp, Matt and Sherri immediately came to talk, as if they had been missing all this time. I kinda feel bad for having put them at top of my bootlist over a first vote. But we'll see how they play this out. At this point in the game, social won't matter, game talk will matter. I'll be nice to them because I like their vibe and their energy, but if I see that their numbers intimidate my game, I'll have to axe one of the newbies.

Once again Liz is on my tribe, and considering she has ties to many people, maybe not a bad thing that me and her are always on the same tribe. This way, she'll get used to having Allie around and maybe want to keep me longer in the run. But really, last round, and the few rounds before, I've been growing doubts about working with her. It doesn't matter how loyal you're going to be, you need to work with your people and not just come up with last minute plans with so little information. If I'm your girl, prove it please. Because if somebody proves to be a better pal with me, I'll buy their ice cream and yours will melt.

I have Laura on my tribe again, that's someone I wanted on my tribe. She is under the radar, so the longer I have her on my tribe, the more she could grow some "attachement"?

Stephannie looks really sweet. Her biggest worry was to look obnoxious at the challenge, I don't think she looked obnoxious at all, we were all kinda aggro on the field, so we were all into this together. I don't know where she stands, but I keep my options opened.

Wardog was not so happy with the vote, but he says he's not upset, but I think he's really disappointed. The thing though is I don't know how much I can trust him. He will say things then play another way behind the curtains, and this... just don't work with me, hmm.. This is the awkwardness of "we both lied to each other" the only difference is I came on the right side of the trench. Fix your game if you wanna work with Allie, man. And axe the right people... You're trying to axe my allies and I can't have that.

I see Jed as someone I don't have to immediately worry about, although I know he's going to be one of Liz' number on this tribe. Or very likely to be.

Where is Reynold? Yeah. This is what I said on day one.. ^^

2. At this point, there are nine new players in the game and nine returnees, and even split. Do you see the game as returnee vs. newbie or have the lines blurred?

Not in my book. I'm not looking at the game this way. There are numbers among the returnees, there are numbers among the newbies, and nobody wants to be at the bottom of the totem pole. So trust me, there's going to be blindsides down the road, and I just hope not to be apart of it. See how fast your game can burn, just look at Stephanie. This is why I play careful.

3. Do the partnerships play a role in your voting strategy, at this point? Are you trying to split up partnerships, leverage them for votes, or not really thinking about it?

Yeah. I still trust Aurora. We will continue to share information with each other. And come merge, I wouldn't mind working with her seriously, and possibly go far into the game. Would I backstab people only to move forward with her? I would if she proves to be as solid of an ally as I would like her to be. But we have so many votes to go through though... we'll have to see who will be left to be eaten on the table before we plan too much. People flip on a dime, so don't start building your stupid pyramid scheme this ain't gonna work you waste your time lol. Think of your position in the tribe first, that's all what matters in survivor, your position. And you don't need to be front runner all the time. If you know you're 4th placing, you're already playing better than the 2nd placing that doesn't know he's 2nd placing, cause you'll work hard to move up your position, he won't.

For now, I have no specific target. I just want to build my safety first. I think I can count on Laura. If I can count on Jed/Liz as always, that would be awesome. I'm sure they would target a few others over me. That's already 4. What if Sherri/Matt vote our way? What if Wardog vote our way? What if STEPH votes our way ? We'll see.

My strategy for the round

I'm not sure if I want to go for Reynold or for Jed on the first round. On one hand, Reynold doesn't do any initiatives, and he does this with me, with Liz, with Laura... so what the fuck is he doing? On the other hand, I would say I view Jed as a threat to my game. I think he has something strong going on with Elizabeth, and also with Jessica. This is based off the way information circulates in the game... Getting rid of Jed would just be one less person in Liz' pocket and she would have to work with me more to further herself in the game. For this to happen though, I need to make sure he is not one of the partner of the people on the newbies of this tribe because it could throw a wrench in the plan, and I have to make sure also that there would be a numbers for that? Should I do this now? Wait for Reynold to go home? Will another plan be thrown on the table to make things impossible for me to get this done? Will the vote already be offered on the table before I even suggest it? I'm still unsure on my timing. Oh and Jed want to talk to me just as I'm writing this. Damnn the coincidences LOL. *looks around the confessional booth, eyes wide*

Anyways, I'm in the brainstorming phase right now so don't take anything too seriously. No one is safe lol

We talked for hours, Kapé and I. Over and over, he tried to explain the islands’ many Polynesian names, like Te Puka Runga, “The Tree Where the Sun Rises” (Napuka); and Te Puka Raro, “The Tree Where the Sun Sets” (Tepoto), deciphering the complex dialect and the multiple hidden meanings behind each name. It encompassed centuries of stories that stretch back to the original inhabitants and their worldview when their universe was nothing more than the two islands, the surrounding ocean and the big sun that moved overhead.
In my search for the idol, I came across this, and ouch, can you imagine... a whole nation thinking the world revolves around just two islands? That's crazy how all nations started with completely different worldviews.

Ok. Done commenting. Back to the search.

I swear I have no idea what to do if we were to go tribal. I don't think it would be possible to go Jed vs Reynold considering both of them are a pair. Or at least, we CANNOT make that work by pitting them against each other, you know what I mean? So forget that. Forget that. This partnership would throw a wrench in whatever I brainstormed.

I spoke to Liz to have a headsup on her plans. I can see that she was already strategizing with Sherri and talking about vote splits and stuff before we even got to talk about position in the tribe and think any plan out. One more reason I don't trust Liz so much. Why would you be talking about all this already without even mentionning it to me? I don't think I can trust Liz for very long. I think she's trying to collect minions and I would like to play my own game. If I accept this, it will either force me to be a goat, or force me to turn on her later in the game, when her agenda will be at her strongest... Which could make it hard for me. Does that mean I want to turn on her? If I had to press a button right now, I would eject her. Not gonna lie. But you have to think smart... She has allies, whom I made alliances with. If I turn on her, I lose trust in many people.. including Jessica... Jed... I need to play smart...

I also can't make a move if I don't know where people stand. This is why I'll see where people heads are at, so I can make a more clear decision.

After speaking to Stephannie, I see that Aurora was right. I think Stephannie would rather work with Sherri, Matt and Reynold. I don't think she would sell herself to them, but I think for now that's where her head is at. I'm not telling Liz that information. If she targets Steph to Sherri like she said she would think of doing, we'll see who's true to who?

Speaking to Sherri, I can tell that she would like to vote Jed or Wardog out. I think she'd be opened to vote either one of them. Not too bad if I decide to go for Jed at some point. I'm keeping note of that.

I'm not excluding the possibility that I would help Wardog survive, if that's a vote I can count on, but that will depend on where is head is at, and how I feel about him. I will not risk myself to save him if he looks to uncertain.

So really, the way I see it :

Reynold + Sherri + Matt
Stephannie is a loner, inclined to work with Sherri/Reynold/Matt
Liz + Jed
Wardog is a loner.
Laura is a loner too, but in the good graces of me & Liz.

Then there's me. I was hoping Steph was partnered with Laura, that could have been something that I use to my advantage, I guess not. Oh well. Will keep you updated later. I'm more into the information gathering atm.

Ok I talked to Liz, and she seems to want to work with the newbies for now until the merge. OK. I was not expecting that. I thought she wanted to keep at least Jed. Unless she's really downplaying it, but alright. I mean, Liz repeated that she wanted to work with me Hope and Jess, that felt better to hear it again, she gains back a few points here, cause I was wondering if she really was still down for that. But you know, like I said, she can't be on the winning side of the vote everytime, this girl right now is looking like the genious at school who got A+ on every subject LOL. No one targets her while she's got that idol over her head... But of course we've had easy votes so far, and I think it could explain why she's being more relaxed. Maybe I'm used to go on panic mode a little too often.

So now after hearing all of this, I think the smartest decision would be to vote with the newbies, there's no way we will take away their numbers considering Liz wants to work with them, and Steph could run back to them, and Wardog could be pissed from last vote and throw us to the wolves, and Jed being Reynold's partner.. I mean... so many things could go wrong if we try to target the newbies, the list is endless.

So at this point, my goal is to make it to the merge alive... We're not safe from another swap again, if that happens, I don't want to have too many ennemies. You never know who will be your next teammates... The only cards I have in my pocket for now at the merge are :

CARDS THAT WILL PLAY IN MY FAVOR :

- A good partner in Aurora. (I think this is a card that could surprise most, so why not make it work as a priority?)
- An alliance with Myself/Hope/Jessica/Liz.
- I think I could convince Stephannie and Laura to do things at some point, because they're kinda clueless about most of the scheming.
- I don't have too many deals that could blow up in my face if people compared notes.

CARDS THAT WILL BE PLAYED AGAINST ME :

- I don't see myself working closely with Rocker, Shamar, Tai, Reynold, and Jed.
- Alexis and Elizabeth are also a duo... and I don't want them to cut Aurora before I can cut either one of them. I want that immunity lol. And I also would like to work closely with Aurora, and for that to happen, I would have to split them down the road. And ugh, I fear that people are close to both of them, they'll be a hard duo to take on.
- Jessica being teamed up with Michael as I see this guy as a very dangerous player. Why the f*** is he teamed with Jessica ughhh lol.

Right now, I'm not feeling too good. So the newbies are SAYING this is gonna be Wardog, and the returnees want to vote out Laura, which I do not agree with. I don't want Laura to go. I think she'd be good to my game, I have a reading on her (I think) and I don't wanna vote out people I can read... I think Wardog has an idol, and based on all the questions he's asking to me, to Laura, I can tell he might think of playing it, and he might actually target somebody else than Laura. I tried getting Laura to tell him the truth about last vote because I don't want it to be me saying it lol. But now the question should be : IS IT REALLY Wardog vs Laura? What if the others are just looking at Te Poto 2.0 trying to split them so they can have majority ? I'm terrified. Votes could go everyway. And they have every reason to vote me out. I'm not in their alliance. I could be blamed for telling Jed about the Wardog target as far as i know! I'm not even sure if I was supposed to tell him LOL. I just assumed Liz probably told him already so I didn't want to look like I'm hiding the vote to him.

I think Wardog going is the easiest way when it comes to placing my vote somewhere. But I think if he played an idol, I would smile. As long as I'm not his target, or that he doesn't pick Laura to go, fine, do whatever you want me. Anything. Blindside the shit out of someone !

I think it's too early to target Matt.
I think it's too early to target Sherri.
I think it's dumb to vote Elizabeth I've already explained why before.
I think there's no way we are getting Jed or Reynold out because of their partnership that links both sides...
I don't wanna vote Stephannie.

And this left Wardog and Laura. I wanted Wardog to come up with an idol and get rid of someone whom it was too early for me to vote out by myself, but this isn't happening because now Laura is the vote, and the newbies want her out. I get Sherri's reasoning, it does make sense I think. To keep the tribe happy and blabla, nobody wants a line drawn in the sand on the first vote... it burns people immediately. And so for that reason I understand the decision although I'm not happy that she goes. :'( I think I still have options if she leaves though. I think it would be harder to play the game trying to keep her around round after round, sooo... I'm debating whether or not I'm throwing a rogue vote. No wait, I can't. I've already told people I was not happy with her going. Lmao. Someone please kill me. #WatchMeGetVotedOut
