SUBJECT: THE RETURN OF KARAS KORNER (RIP REYNOLD)

Whew. It's been some time since the last installment of Kara's Korner but we are back and stronger than ever before. Got two things planned for today- this being the first. IT'S MERGE! I spent the day catching up on stuff around the season and have to say this has been pretty damn good. We have our first juror Reynold- who was someone I really enjoyed pre-merge but reading back I think his activity dropped a little? Was probably the death of him here. I didn't notice he was key or important to anyone enough for someone to raise an eye at voting him. Number one mistake you can make imo. You can be amazing socially but if you're not a valuable part of anyone's game in the long run and your name gets put out there it will spread like wildfire pretty easily I think. It's probably fact but I'm two orgs in so I'll say "I THINK" after every comment.

You were entertaining for the most part for me Reynold, but it was the fact that nobody cared really that ended you.

Verdict: be important to SOMEONE. preferably more than one but still.

Welcome one and all to a special edition of Kara's Korner, hosted by Chelsea.

Today's topic: Jess and Michael's relationship. I know Danni covered it in Toxic in Community, but y'all this relationship is for real toxic. The toxicity started after the second time Jess voted for Michael. After that tribal, Michael lays into her and will not let up. He's essentially verbally abusing her for... playing the game? Which like I get it if you're mad that someone voted you, but the kicker is, he had nonstop lied, given her fake info, and targeted her allies since the merge. He's basically gaslighting her, and she let's him do it. What in battered wife syndrome was that shit. At this point I think if he told her to jump off a cliff, she'd ask which one. But this isn't even the worst part. Not only does Michael do all this, but he's bragging about it to any host/lurker who will listen. The fact that he knows that he's doing terrible things to her mentally coupled with the fact that Jess is buying into it so much makes this just the perfect storm of toxicity. Maybe once Michael gets to the server, I wont be the most toxic one.
