Welcome to your confessional, Michael!

This may be the most important place in the game. It's where you will vote and more importantly, talk to us! Feel free to divulge your darkest secrets, current strategies, alliances, and hell... just pure hatred for other players. You are the only player that can view this forum. Outside of Alumni and Hosts, it is completely private. We love getting the dirt and there are plenty of us here to ask you questions. As you can see, this thread is labeled "Episode 00". Each round (meaning challenge + council) we will start a new thread with the title of each episode. After every Tribal Council, a host will start a new thread asking you more questions. Again, this is your forum and you can feel free to start whatever topics or make whatever posts you like. We will be here to help you out, make you think, get you to talk, and really just lend an ear.

We take confessionals seriously because we're genuinely interested in your story. We want to know everything you're thinking and more importantly, what you're feeling. Think of it as free therapy. We will be guiding you along the way and asking you questions, provoking thought and helping you think about things you otherwise might not have. We find that just talking through your situation can help you get a fresh perspective on things.

Beyond that, it's just fun. What's more fun is having a record of what you were thinking at different stages of the game, and being able to look back on that is priceless so take advantage of it!

Here is a practice mini-challenge for you to work on. It is a challenge that might appear once or twice throughout the season in a different form. While it will be easier to do in the actual challenge using a puzzle-builder, this will help you practice reposting images. Image posting is something that will pop up in multiple challenges and is a skill that you should perfect. Please refer to the guide in the Camp forum for detailed instructions on how to post images.

This particular challenge is a 4x4 16-piece puzzle. You must correctly unscramble the puzzle using the ORIGINAL image links. Meaning, you can't simply rearrange them in a photo editing program. You must use the original images by using the IMG tag. (more information on this in the camp how-to threads.

Good luck, please ask us for any help or further instructions :)

You will need to reply to this thread ahead of the season and sign the rules in order to avoid being replaced.

One task you must complete before Thursday’s launch:

Both tribes will receive a dossier from the opposing tribe detailing their members. Whose dossier belongs to whom will remain anonymous.

You can answer the questions below as truthfully or dishonestly as you choose, but beware… The information below will play a crucial part in the decision making of the season and being dishonest could hurt your chances in the long run.

Again, no one will know who wrote the answers to the questions. They will only be referred to as Castaway #1, Castaway #2, etc…

1. How would you describe your performance in challenges. Strengths/Weaknesses?
2. How would you describe your strategy in the game?
3. How loyal would you describe yourself?
4. How competitive are you?
5. How well do you work with others?
6. Is there anything you would like the other tribe to know about you that you haven’t mentioned?

1. How would you describe your performance in challenges. Strengths/Weaknesses? I am able to see the bigger picture when looking at something, I don't get lost in the details and I am able to see what a challenge "wants" from me. My weakness is being able to really get everyone on the same page as me, while I can make far strides in the grunt work, I can lose my voice because I am working hard.

2. How would you describe your strategy in the game?
My strategy is to show loyalty and honesty to those that show it back to me. Bonds are what take people far in this game and you cannot win if you hurt everyone in the way.

3. How loyal would you describe yourself?
I am as loyal as I can be. I don't mind putting myself in danger for another person, if I know that they'd do the same for me.

4. How competitive are you?
very. It's one of my biggest strengths and weaknesses. I like to play and I like to do well. I'm fortunate that I'm not a sore loser, but I'm always going to do my best.

5. How well do you work with others?
I like to work with others. I am a friendly and social person. If I can make a new connection, it makes me feel happy. Sometimes I think a Golden Retriever is my spirit animal.

6. Is there anything you would like the other tribe to know about you that you haven’t mentioned?
I've had many different life experiences, and I promise that a conversation with me is never boring.

Confessional One- The pre-season confessional:

It's been 14 years since I've last played a game, and things are so familiar and yet so different!

The second I logged in for the first time, I saw the coin icon, I audibly said "Oh, damn." out loud. Because this is going to make the game even more complicated than I've ever experienced. I did a quick look around the first thing I noticed was that there are TWENTY.FOUR. slots on the front page for different players, with 12 of them being available to me to see! If this is going to be a 24 player season, I am going to have to fight so much harder than I thought.

The second thing that I noticed when I started to do my digging was that the host, Jeff Probst, had a strange little rock that said "5" on it on his profile. I need to figure out what exactly that means and what it's for. I have a feeling that his little rock is going to lead me a big advantage if I can put it together. I really hope that my observational skills and snoopy-ness is what will give me the advantage around here. I also realized that there was a mention of 10 coins...and yet here I am right at the start being able to find an additional 10. I am going to hold that secret for awhile too, I need to be able to play off that I am weaker than I really am.

My goal for the start is to NOT overplay my hand. I want to be friendly enough to be put into an alliance and I want to be able to feel out those around me. If I stand any chance in the game, it's going to have to be through the social connections of those around me. I will need to build trust and find my ride or die. I PRAY that I can find the larger connection for that 5 rock. That is my secondary goal for now.

I'm excited, I'm terrified, I'm ready to show what I'm made of!

Awe shucks Danni, prepare yourself for a few meltdowns. In my defense, I found those names using the Users tab and finding the sting rays. I should have just read the note Jeff put out about it.
