Wow! A surprise live double round that resulted in Tai and Allie leaving! A couple of questions about that.
1. Would you say that you were more of a listener or a talker during the round? Who was doing the most talking and whispering? Who were you relying on?
2. Were Tai and Allie going good for your game? Why or why not?
3. The votes tonight seemed like pretty clear majorities in both cases. Is there a large group that needs to be broken up? Or are things more fluid?
4. Who is the biggest threat to your game right now? One player only, no cheating!
I was more of a talker during that round. I had a plan (as you can read from yesterday) that I wanted to get Tai out, followed by a partner and I got exactly what I wanted.
I had been talking to Alexis about Allie for the past few days about how strong of a player she is, and Allie winning the second immunity challenge really sealed that in. During the Tribal, it's important for me to set a phone tree of information so people cannot always tell who is leading the charge. If you lead one vote, you're usually fine...but if you start being viewed as the leader of multiple votes....well, then people start getting wary of you. Alexis is currently suffering through that. People are realizing that she has her hands in too many cookie jars and I think there is going to be blowback on her soonish.
But I always want to be an active voice in the votes, I cannot stand just sitting around and being complacent. I made sure that Alexis and I divided our attention and whispers to different groups so we could cover more ground on the Allie vote
But i'm getting ahead of myself here, let's start at the Tai vote.
I am glad Tai is gone, Tai Lies. Tai never trusted me and I never trusted him. He is a nice guy and I like him as a person, but he had no place in this game.
So the day started with Tai going on his "Cher Farewell Tour" where he was going around saying 'gg mike, you got me!' and he did this with multiple people. It would seem kinda sad if it wasn't for the fact that I know he has an idol clue. So I didn't want to fuck around with him and have him pull a 0-1 vote. I wasn't sure if there were going to be votes for a split, and for the first time I didn't know where two votes came from- The Stephannie votes. But I knew that there was a HUGE chance that Tai would be writing my name down, since I was the one who lead the poisoning of the well for Tai.
I had gone to Matt about throwing votes onto Liz, but he didn't seem too into it. I pushed him a little more than I really should have, but then when we went to tribal and found out it was a double boot, I whispered to him to vote Tai like I was going to. I did this because I didn't need two votes on Liz, and it'd be too much confusion if that happened.
I switched my vote from Liz to Rocker because Rocker is both less of a target to me and also I knew i'd have the numbers to be saved if Tai did have an idol and it was a 1-1 tie between Rocker and I. I'm glad that there was a secondary plan by someone to put two votes on Steph, but I'm a bit annoyed I don't know who it was.
When Tai was voted out I didn't have ANY time to celebrate, because it was time to make our move against Allie. I knew that Alexis was ready for it because we had talked about her before tribal, and we also knew that now that Tai was gone, Steph/Sherri/Matt were open to work with. That gave me an army of Steph, Sherri, Matt to move forward with.
When it comes to Allie, the vote was pretty simple for me. I didn't have much going on with her at all, found her a bit gamebotty until the very end, and she was a comp beast, there was no reason for me to keep her around.
What was important to me for the Allie vote was to make sure that I told Jess and Aurora what the vote was going to be, because I've been accused of leaving them in the dark before...and fair enough. I've done it often.
I made sure to tell Jess that it was between Steph and Allie early on, but I wanted until the last two minutes to let her know that the tide was turning for Allie so Jess wouldn't have the time to fight it. With Aurora, I knew that Alexis had already spoken to her, so I just reached out so it didn't look like I was ignoring her.
Allie took her vote out well, Liz and Jess were left in the dust. They both knew it was happening, but I think Jess didn't really want to believe that it was going to happen.
Allie leaving is so prime for me. She wasn't really with me, and she was a number for Liz, who is a threat to me.
I think the majority is going to break up now. it was 9 people and it's going to go down to 8 after Allie left.
I have no real use for Rocker or Liz anymore and I need to see what I can do to get them out.
I think my biggest threat in the game at the moment is Alexis. Alexis is close with many people and is playing the game just as well as me. If I made it to the end with her, she'd be making the same arguments as I would be to the jury. I don't think that Alexis is coming after me at all, but I believe that she is my biggest threat to take the win.
