You survived again! I tip my iconic Kansas City cowboy hat to you :hattip:

1- Another new player out the door. How does Brandon's departure impact your game?

2-Have you gotten to know your partner? Do you think your strategic goals for the game line up with theirs?

3-Tell the lurkers a bit about your long term plans here. Who do you hope to take far in the game? Who do you need out ASAP? If you haven't started asking yourself those questions, get on it! I can assure you others are already thinking that far ahead.

See you tomorrow ! :hattip:

I'll continue in the morning.

I grew to love Brandon a lot during my short time with him. At first I thought him and I would never get along, but he was very sweet and I really bonded with him starting on that second day. I'm really sad that he is the one to go. I liked both him and Erik. It's a sad time.

Hostage Down

I am really saddened to see that Brandon was the one voted out. Although I knew he would be since he wasn't able to make good social connections at all. Jess says it's because he was weak in challenges. I don't think she's WRONG...but I also don't think that's the reason he was voted out. Brandon leaving does hurt my game a bit, because I know he was very loyal to me. He would have ridden my coattails to the very end if he had the chance. I would have much rather have seen any of the OG Puka girls on Te Poto go over him. Brandon would have followed me, and I had some bible studies prepared for him!

I have a feeling that Jess is very Anti-Newbie and doesn't really want to be working with me. She's always seeming so disingenuous and I really don't think she's worth the liability of keeping around for too long. I think Jess is reluctant to keep me around, but she's also very much a hardcore player and a bit greedy, so she's going to drag me as much as she can to keep me safe and she can get that immunity.

My more immediate goals are to figure Stephannie, Rocker, and Aurora's true intentions. Stephannie is a HUGE social threat and needs to be watched. Tai is a trouble maker. Aurora is unstable. Rocker is quiet and nervous to talk to me. Hannah is anti-social and is disliked by Pukaroa. I know Hannah will read back on this, and I want her to know that it's because she was so closed off to us night one, that it's hard to really make up that ground.

Mid-term goals include getting rid of Hannah and Rocker, holding Stephannie hostage. Breaking Aurora down a little bit by sewing more distrust between her and Hannah, while also trying to account for the idol that may or may not be out there.

Long term goals include moving forward with Alexis, Matt, Reynold, and Sherri. possibly trying to include Stephannie and Aurora as well. I need to play Jessica and Liz for a bit longer too, since they are going to trust us newbies for a bit longer.

Pouring myself into this

when I made the choice to play Stranded. I didn't make the choice lightly. I knew that if I decided to apply and I was chosen, that I'd have to REALLY commit to it.

during the weeks I put 14 hours in a day.

during the weekends I plan to put 6-8 hours a day.

When I choose to commit to something, I make sure to commit!

The Chelsea Strategy

My plan at the moment is to always remind Matt and Alexis that Missy cannot be trusted because of how much she fucked over Chelsea in Tanzania. Why is this relevant? Because it shows that Missy isn't a stable player and she needs to go. Using Chelsea as my example over Elizabeth is important because Elizabeth is allowed to frame the situation however she wants. Chelsea is NOT in the game, so I can use her story as a fear tactic to make sure no one starts to trust her.

Why do I have something against Missy? I don't. I just need to keep my alliance more loyal to me than to others.

Michael's Choice

I genuinely love Matt and Alexis. They are wonderful people to talk to and wonderful allies.

When I first aligned with them, I always thought Alexis was going to be my number one and Matt being my number two. But at this point, I don't think I have a number one or a number two. I'm really concerned that at some point I'm going to have to make a big decision, and I'm not prepared for it. It's not a matter of Alexis moving down, it's a matter of loving them both.

If it comes down to it, I'll cut them both, it's a game, I don't care. But my strategy has always been about making honest relationships that connect me to people. I'm not sure if I'm ready for another Erik situation where I cry after voting them out.

A Word of Advice

If you suffer from social anxiety online, maybe an online game based on social interactions isn't for you. Hannah, You are a sweet person, and I really like you a lot. But you need to find a way to push through your fears and anxiety if you want to be able to make strong connections.

On that note, this Fancy Boy is going to pop a Xanax or two and go to bed.
