My First Real Victory
Hannah is out. I'm proud that I can take ownership of it.
Jessica asked me to keep
Aurora safe, and while I still don't have much trust in
Jessica, I wasn't ready to burn that bridge with her so I wanted to make sure that I was keeping her happy. While the tribe originally wanted
Aurora out and
Tai was a real option for a moment. I made the pivot with
Matt and
Alexis a few days ago that Hannah needed to go because she had the idol. I have no idea if she actually did, but
Hannah didn't feel like she was connecting to me and that would cause problems later since I feel like she'd rather work with others. Ultimately, it was her connection with the large alliance of
Stephanie, Jed, Missy, Jessica, and Liz that made me need to cut her. It was too unwieldy as a group and thinning it out now is helpful.
Slipping
Hannah to
Alexis and
Matt started the chain reaction that I needed to get everyone else talking. Making
Reynold feel comfortable with it also helped as well. I made it a point to get closer to
Sherri yesterday since I want to keep that relationship alive, it also helped me drive the anti-
Hanna sentiment too.
My current plan is to take control over Matt and Alexis's coins. With my
Communism Plan we can negate our net losses of coins if we lose more challenges by 20. It makes us stronger, and let's be real. it's nice for me to be able to hold onto all of those coins.
When has Communism EVER failed?
So I want to remind everyone here that I haven't played an ORG since about 2006/2007 whenever Fiji was on. So idols were not always a huge thing back in the day. I'm trying to remind myself of their existence and always try and account for it. During
Hannah's vote, I had
Aurora vote for
Tai. There were two reasons why, it was for trust, and it was to save myself and my alliance if
Hannah actually had the idol. The 9-1-1 vote would lead to a revote between
Tai and
Shamar, where
Tai would get at least 6 votes
(Alexis, Myself, Matt, Sherri, Aurora, Reynold) I do think that
Stephannie and
Rocker would vote Tai as well because they aren't dumb. But it was the best way I could think of to make sure all of my bases were covered.
Moving forward, I need to really look out for
Stephannie, she's so social.
Tai is also a troublemaker...but everyone knows that he's always trying to stir drama so no one will believe him.
Tai's bad gameplay makes him an asset, and I can understand how he was a 3rd place goat in his season.
Jessica is finally starting to be more open with me. Thank God. I do need her for later in the game so it's important for me to harbor this relationship. She's also being nicer. I think it's because she put the trust in me with
Aurora and it paid out.
my future plans are to drop
Shamar at some point, he's always a little chaotic. I want to try and reconnect with the Puka girls on Te Poto. But i'm not sure how trustworthy
Allie, Hope, and Laura are. I know
Allie is a smart player. I've just never been able to get a read on
Laura and
Hope. I know
Laura is low on their tribe.
To answer your question, i'm not sure if I want to keep with tribal bonds forever. But they are serving me very well for now.
