1. Hmm I'd say I was balancing somewhere in the middle there. I obviously tried to talk to people (and whispering for the first time in this game!) and tried to see what was going on because I know it could have potentially gone real bad there. I also didn't want to push too hard though, since I was still unsure of my position and I didn't want it backfiring on me. I think Alexis was probably whispering the most since it seems like she was the driving force behind this Allie boot. In that sense, I was kind of relying on her since she has a lot of pull in this tribe and we just needed to get the boot off of Stephannie and onto Allie. I tried to do my part in pushing for Allie too, but yeah this was mostly Alexis.
2. Overall...yes I think both of them leaving benefitted my game! Now I really loved Tai and I knew he would be a good and loyal ally but damn these people turned him into a pariah! I heard about most of this messy Tai stuff second hand so I didn't know the full extent of it, but what I did know was that he was almost like a poison that people were trying to stay away from. Like people were reluctant to work with me or tell me things because of him which makes me feel real bad for Tai..but I also needed to think about myself. He asked me if I would use the idol on him and I said I wouldn't. Like...what then? He survives that and then one of us just leave in the 2nd council AND if I survive people will be pissed off at me. Long term, it would be terrible, and Steph, Matt and I knew we just had to let him go here. Total sweetheart though.
Allie leaving was definitely great for my game too. Another sweetheart but a) she was a challenge beast and b) we weren't really getting anywhere in a game sense. Maybe short term things would have been okay but like she was never a solid ally for me and I wouldn't rely on her for anything really. Good boot.
3. Things are definitely more fluid! There's been a big majority for all of the votes so far but each of those majorities have consisted of different people. I know after the Reynold boot I was a bit concerned that I was in the minority but things started changing quickly and I don't think it's as clear. Now, there are still blocks of people I'm concerned about and they need to be broken up. Like really, any of the vets need to go next to help me moving forward, but I think there's more wriggle room for me now.
4. Alexis 100%. I've pegged this girl as dangerous right from the start. She's super smart, super social and really likeable. She's got a lot of people that love her and feel close to her and in general she just has power. I mean, she pretty much drove that Allie boot home last night and everyone listened. I know a few people are catching onto this but we need the right people to catch onto this so we can make our move. I'm hoping to cut like Rocker or someone just to trim down the people she's loyal to, but we can't wait too long to strike. Sherri's coming for you.
