Helllllllllooooooo greater Stranded universe. Happy weekending to you all!
1. We certainly did swap tribes! On first glance I was suuuuuuper happy with the people I ended up with and I'm glad I'm not on the other tribe for sure lol. Obviously I was so happy to be with Matt again and I'm really glad Reynold ended up with us again too! We're the three players that have always been on Puka so naturally we'll get pretty close as a result. It was also really great to end up with Stephannie again! I was really hoping to make some good relationships in the swap and I think I did with Tai and Steph so I'm glad at least one of them is with me here. I really wouldn't want to vote her out either so hopefully we can stick together.
Seeing Liz again is amazing after she was separated from our alliance. I definitely want to get back into the swing of things with her because I think she'll be a really important ally and player in this game. I didn't connect to Laura and Allie as much on our first tribe but we'll see where things go here. Laura was just a bit quiet and Allie....well lmao she scares me a little.
Liz told me all about how ass soon as they swapped together, Allie confronted her and demanded to know if she was in that Buffet group chat we made lol. She said she figured out it was from our tribe by looking to see who was online and then went and tried a bunch of food related passwords to try and get in lmao. I do admire her uh commitment to the truth? But also she seems a bit wild so we're going to need to be careful there.
Then the only other two players I haven't met are Jed and Wardog! I can't say I hate to see any of them but I do want to try and get to know them a bit. I've heard good things about Jed and I know he's Canadian so we might be able to connect there. And I know Wardog and Steph were close but not much else. I think Liz might want him out first lol but we'll see.
2. The lines have definitely blurred between the newbies and the returnees! I mean, there's always going to be some sort of divide since a lot of the early alliances are based on those divisions, but I don't think everyone will always play along those lines. Like we saw that with last night and apparently Missy turned on Steph and helped lead the charge to kill her. Then like I'm personally closer to Liz and Stephannie and Tai more than I am with Laura, Allie and Hope...definitely not cut and dry but still on people's minds.
3. Well mine is DEAD now!!!
Like damn I really did not see that coming and I obviously would have been fine for her to use the idol if she thought she needed it. I know I was saying last round that maybe there was a wall between us somewhat and we weren't sharing everything...BUT I didn't want it to stay like that. I was hoping we would swap together and then bond a bit more there. I also really wanted that shared immunity lol but rip that..at least I still have the idol to remember her by. Love you Steph!!!

Now I guess I just have to think about other people's partnerships and there's just a handful I'm not 100% sure about. At some point it's probably going to be good to split them up but that seems more like a merge thing to me. Like if two people in a partnership are both my allies then I don't want to just kill one for the sake of it, you gotta be careful with the timing for things like that. I'm definitely still thinking about them though, and whether these partners are actually close or not. I'm sure they all want that immunity regardless!
The only other thing which is slightly related is all the idol drama. That's a big tie in to the partners and there's been a lot of paranoia there. I think Steph might have been trying to pin it on Missy? But then a lot of people thought Steph might have had it but then obviously she didn't play it so maybe they don't now...just very confusing! I really want to stay out of it and hopefully slide through without being undetected. I don't need a target on my back for having the idol or a target for lying about not having it! It would be nice if I didn't even have to use it and then just kept a nice souvenir, but it's also nice to have in my back pocket.
