Episode 14: Thanks to All My Fallen Soldiers! - Stranded in Tuamotus
-- 4th Place - 11th Juror - Voted Out 2-2 --
#62341
I guess I'm asking confessional questions today. Congrats on single digits! For some of you this is a real accomplishment. For others, you're only here because someone wants to be sitting at the end with you. Which category do you fall into? ONLY TIME WILL TELL!
Image

1-Last night Jeff talked about the Scooby Doo reveal, a classic Stranded tribal council question that boils down to "perception is reality" or "If players don't know you're playing hard right now, they wont think so when you claim it at final tribal." Who in the game do you think is currently banking on pulling a Scooby Doo and revealing they were the mastermind all along? Do you think you fall into this category?

2-We're in the single digits! Who left would you consider a big target? Who do you think is a slam dunk to beat at a final tribal? How do you think the other players are ranking you in this question?

3-What is your endgame strategy? Are you planning to keep big targets around? or are you planning on dragging someone useless across the finish line with you?

4-The Jury bench is filling up quickly. Walk me through each juror and how you think they perceive you and your game. Do you think they'd vote for you right now? if not, what could you do to change that before the F3?

Keep up the good work! The finale will be here before you know it!

Before we begin, I would like to go over the shit show that was yesterday:

  • Finally got on the same page with Hope an things we're looking good. We came up with who we would need to have the majority to vote our Sherri - feeling: :yikes:

  • Hearing Alexis as their target - feeling: :unabused:
  • Hearing Liz is now their target - feeling: :curse:
  • Doing the challenge - feeling: :dizzy:
  • Losing the challenge (again) - feeling: :yikes:
  • Hearing that Aurora and Michael are not voting Sherri - feeling: :curse:
  • Slowly losing hope that I can save my best friend - feeling: :teary:
  • Telling Sherri I wasn't going to vote for her to save face - feeling: :bird:
  • Realizing I'm fucked no matter who I vote for - feeling: :gun:
  • Deciding to just not vote - feeling: :zipit:
  • Seeing the vote reveal - feeling: :sob:
  • Seeing my name - feeling: :barf:
  • Realizing Michael and I are the last partners - feeling: :pop:
  • Getting clarification from Jeff that we both we immunity good through F5 - feeling:
  • Talking to Shamar about the Liz vote - feeling: :grief:

Ya know Danni, I can see how some people may think of me as a goat based on my poor merge performance. I'm not happy about it and I do want to change that. I have a move up my sleeve that I'm going to try and get going today.. and hopefully be able to successfully execute tonight. I'm going after Michael. It's the perfect time considering he thinks everyone wants to go for Sherri. I can convince him to save him immunity, get this new group of 5 I have together, and get his ass out of this game. He has controlled too much of this game and while I appreciate him helping me get this far, I'm no one's goat. He has served his purpose and I don't need him around anymore. It's just a matter of trusting the people around me now.

If I had to say one person, it would probably be Stephannie. But that is only because she doesn't show her game very much but is very social. I think it's possible that she may have made some moves, but from my perspective, she has just been surviving.

Hell, I feel like I just described myself as well. I'm torn on where I stand. Thankfully, there is still time to prove that I deserve to be in this game still.

2-We're in the single digits! Who left would you consider a big target? Who do you think is a slam dunk to beat at a final tribal? How do you think the other players are ranking you in this question?

For my, the following are threats:
  • Michael
  • Sherri
  • Stephannie
The following are my idea endgame:
  • Jessica
  • Hope
  • Aurora
  • Shamar

I don't like the idea of goats, but they are in every game. I came back for many reason but the number one reason is to win. So I'm going to do everything I can to make that happen. As for how others are putting me on their list, let me see if I can break it down based on what I think:

  • Michael: End
  • Sherri: Threat
  • Stephannie: Threat
  • Alexis: End
  • Hope: End
  • Aurora: End
  • Shamar: Threat
  • Matt: Threat
So I feel like it's pretty even with people who may want to sit at the end with my verses people who see me as a threat. I've been trying to manage my threat level by seeming almost defeated and sharing bits of honesty with my enemies here and there. It may have worked to some degree as Alexis may be targeted before me. I'm pretty sure that everyone has Shamar as someone they want to go to the end with. He is Jack, a really likable guy, but hasn't done anything. I also think that is Sherri or Michael make it to the end, they are winning.

3-What is your endgame strategy? Are you planning to keep big targets around? or are you planning on dragging someone useless across the finish line with you?

My strategy is going to be to make some moves. I have too much pride to go to the end as a goat. I've already laid out my threats, so now I have to plan how to get rid of them. I'm going to solidify a finals deal with Hope before Sunday. She is someone who I feel like I grabbed right before the relationship broke off, and now it is working in my favor.

If anyone is keeping big threats around at this point, I personally think it's dumb. All it takes is one or two rounds and that person can either slip or win their way to the end. It's not worth the chance.

4-The Jury bench is filling up quickly. Walk me through each juror and how you think they perceive you and your game. Do you think they'd vote for you right now? if not, what could you do to change that before the F3?

  • Reynold: The only way I am getting his vote is if none of his people are sitting next to me. I feel like of everyone on the jury, he is most likely to be a bitter juror. So my best option for his vote is to not be sitting beside Sherri or Matt.
  • Tai: Tai and I have had our issues but I can seem him respecting the game I played and going based off that over our relationship in the game. But I'm also not getting his vote if Stephannie is at the end.
  • Allie: I think I would have a good chance of getting Allie's vote. She was someone close to me so she understood the game that others didn't see. I think I could convince her that I deserve the win.
  • Rocker: Rocker is an interesting one.. I didn't vote for him so that may gain me some favor. He is just really hard to read. But I think if I do make it to the end, I would have to work hard to earn his vote.
  • Liz: This one hurts.. I wanted to sit at the end with her so bad. I hope she respects my move to not vote but I can also understand how some people may see it as a cowards move. I think I get her vote as long as I'm not next to Alexis. Even then, I think I may be able to convince her.

2 things:

1. If this plan goes through tonight, I will be in the best position in the game. Having a majority alliance (or voting block, whatever you want to call it) and having immunity good through final 5. I also told Alexis that if I win immunity at F6 or F5, I will give her my other immunity. I don't even know if I can do that.. basically I'm using that as insurance. If someone gains something by keeping me around, it's good for my game.

2. The thought has indeed crossed my mind that with this immunity, I can be voted out with safety in my pocket for a second time. That is kind of a stressful thought. I'm working hard to change what I'm being remembered for and I swear if it happens to me again, I'm done lol.

I knew I spoke too fucking soon :eyeroll:

Why do I play these damn games. And things will change 5 times before tonight. Idk if it's personal life or a combination of it with the game but my patience is running thin and all of these people annoy me. Life EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM!

Is this normal?

Did Michael seriously ask if I was Johnny Fairplaying him? Like, I don't even know how to respond to that without wanting to punch him in the fucking face. Not all of us are complete and utter assholes like he is.
