One player down, 17 remain!

1. On Thursday, we had a tribe swap and then a long weekend. Who did you spend the weekend bonding with? Is there anyone you feel much closer to than before?

2. At surface level, Te Poto dominated the last challenge, time-wise. Does challenge strength way into the way you would vote, going forward? How have you approached challenges this season?

3. A new idol was hidden at your tribe camp. Have you decided to hunt for it? If so, where have you been looking?

Hey shoutout all my rowdy Stranded crew. I had to take the night off for personal reasons, I apologize. As of writing this I don’t know if we won the challenge or not, I assume we ousted Tai if we lost. Jess and/or Aurora might be annoyed at me when I resurface, but idk. I can only give you guys my best, I’m sorry. Whether I’m an interesting person or not this game of Stranded is taking place during an extremely transitional period of my life. A lot of things are changing for me and quite quickly, and I expect more new things this year. I do my best to share here and I try to be unabashed best I can, but we all have our own boundaries right?

Weekend assessment:
Now that I feel good I know ALL the partners in this game there are 2 relationships for me to attack. Hope and Michael. Hannah and I were bound during the rounds between partners being announced leading to her voteout, any feedback Hope got on me is likely to be good. Hope is very much a piece to be picked up. If this game goes the way I want I’m going to have to be figuring out how to beat Alexis/Shamar/Liz/Stephannie/Jess/Michael/Wardog in the end game, getting in closer with Hope than any of them could be a down the road play. Maybe she’ll be a non-entity in this game big picture, but it’s about putting in the work here. I think I’ve done OK talking to people, Hope shouldn’t be any different.

I cant let JEss start to think I’m not with her, fsr Jess was also very paranoid about this tribe. I’m not super excited to deal with “paranoid allies” (see: the continuing saga of Aurora). In fairness to both of them, I’ve felt safe in these swap scenarios, Jess does have some reason to be nervous I guess bc of Tai, but we’re all voting Tai. Giving the idol clue to me was very nice of her. It really is in my best interest, strategically, if Jess and Aurora are sitting on this idol. I so hope I can keep Aurora with me, she’s the one I’m worried about sinking me and then afterwards we laugh and are like “how come we cant stay on the same page lol”. Wild goose theory is Allie has influenced Aurora in some ways that have made her frustrating for me. Dumb of me to tell Alexis the clue, but not really bad either. I’m still learning. Important to call out these mistakes to myself so I don’t repeat them. I don’t anticipate being able to figure out these idol clues so I really just want to know who has them.

Anyway, back to Jess. Other than the clue she doesn’t really provide me with any actual game info...I dunno if she really gets I’ve put in work. She might underestimate my gaming ability most of all lol. I volunteered Brando as my partner and she wasn’t willing to tell me hers, or compare notes on partners, so I’m going to squeeze as much out of this Micahel partnership as possible. He’s on in the morning usually, we’re about to have a morning alliance ;). I’ve done it once already, but I’m going to keep telling Jess Michael is my fave of the new players and I want to work with him etc. etc. and I’m going to be kinda tight lipped on partners. Sorry Jess! Gotta make sure you’re going to stay with me so I need some third party manipulation. Also she obv knows all about Jed and his plans, seeing as how we’ve never spoken here on Day 12 and I have no significant ties I’m not really “with” Jed...so that’s probably an awkward subject for Jess I’d like to approach more.

Not too much else...Missy having a meltdown is so missy. Not discounting that she found the idol and is pulling shenanigans. Legit love Missy, hopefully we can catch up late at night soon. Missy & Liz (lol) are the 2 people who seem to be the late night rats like myself. Someday i will be on the same tribe as Liz and finally get a full picture of this game.


Really routing for Stephannie and Wardog over there! I really think Stephannie is going to have an outstanding chance to WIN this game. Stephanie is still living in my head to some degree too, wondering if she instructed Sherri to try to work with me or not. Sherri definitely wanted to keep as much dialogue going with me as possible. Probably not, tbh.

RIP to Tai also, who says he can’t even really play during game hours anymore? Is the joke all on me, does he have an idol? I don’t think so. I haven’t been overly paranoid in this game I don’t think. The weirdest musings I’ve had are about Allie=Aaron’s brother, but I don’t think that was paranoid stuff...more creative thinking exercise. I’m aware I need to be focusing on what’s in front of me.
I can hopefully take more of a backseat in this tribe this week, it’s hard when everyone wants to play with you. If Tai is still in the game I gotta be so low radar strategically. If he’s gone, that’s actually a tribe of 8 I really love for myself. I can’t say for certain where Tai really stands. I partly think he was pretty with me until very, very recently.


At the risk of breaking the 4th wall is there anything I can be giving YOU, the loyal reader, more of here in confessionals? I read back through my confesshes so far and I thought they were only “ok”...I can definitely do better. I can let it fly a little more saucier, maybe. But I do wonder if I give enough insight or if I’m too dry or…? I’ve never even lurked a season before, I don’t know what other people are writing here. I see some massive post counts that must come from the confessional forum. And I get that. I think I am actually expert level at making short posts on forums. But I like to write out my thoughts kind of long form here...idk just asking. One of the hosts once said to me “Rocker you take 1000 words to say what could be said in 10”. And that’s true for my online persona, IRL I’m kinda into the whole brevity thing.

So we did WIN the challenge, undoubtedly that wicked son of a gun Coach ‘Rora lead the team to victory. She’s proving to be the best all around challenger. Stephannie and Aurora have stood out to me as outstanding challengers. Alexis seems to choose to play dumb at times when it comes to challenges but still has high performance levels. Shamar, maybe not great at challenges. I relate. I guess Laura got voted out….Tai’s partner. Maybe that disincentivizes us away from Tai but...idk. Not to dump on Laura but I never knew you and it would have taken a lot to get me on your side. More side fodder

Great that alone is enough for me! Daily long form stream of conscious confessionals will continue! As I get more comfortable I think I can find a few other ways to play around in addition to the essays

Tai tells me he trusts me most and is desperate to get a plan cooking on a vote for tonight. LOL is it really possible I swapped onto a tribe with 8 people who want to play with me??? I tell him Missy. Or Hope. Show concerns for Jess, bc it took me a second to remember (hopefully) only Alexis, Shamar and Aurora know I'm with Jess to some degree. With the partners twist, it's probably going to become public knowledge by the end of the week. oof

If we just keep winning challenges that is only good for me too...

MAIN objective this week:
-Get as close with Hope/Michael as possible.
-Find the idol/figure out where it is.
-Oh also read the rules again about the idol, I only skimmed that one post about needing both team's idol
-Continue to try to build with Shamar, we're still missing some a cornerstone bonding moment or 2.
