1- Another new player out the door. How does Brandon's departure impact your game?

First of all, Brandon sounded hilarious and I'm disappointed we never met. Apparently he spammed the chat during their challenge? ...currently picturing the real Brandon Hantz hooting & hollering during a tense maze or puzzle, annoying his tribe on the show lol.

Anyway. It's good and bad. Good because it can enhance the narrative that the core from original Te Poto are in control. Apparently some of "the Fans" are already cautious about being down in numbers.... so it absolutely helps my narrative that people like Jed, Hannah, Steph, etc. need to go ASAP.

But it's also kind of bad, because every time they get their way over there, they get more powerful too in theory.

Honestly? I'm good at making individual friendships. To the point where it's not any set alliance, but I know I have enough bonds in enough places that - should a move be considered - there will never be enough folks all on the same side to put it into effect against me.

Beyond that.... yeah. I want Jed, Stephanie, Hannah, and even Missy out. I like Aurora a lot but if she went, it would be good from a strategic perspective too. Same with Jess but I feel really good with her so I want her to stay the most out of that faction.

I was just thinking too. They all kind of played around the same time. And they're active in the server/etc. Plus Hannah hosted all of them and they probably look up to her because of that. So I feel like they're all together and they're never going to turn on one another. Maybe I'm overly stank and paranoid....... but it WAS myself, Tai, Wardog, and Rocker "on the outs" in the first tie breaker. Was that just a coincidence? Maybe. Maybe not.

Long-term I just want to continue doing what I'm doing. But if we can decimate those Te Poto, let's do it.

I'm committed to paying the whole game with Tai, I trust him the most and love him. Rocker I hope we can make it work, but I'm never totally sure.

Matt I have an alliance of sorts with. Michael and I are becoming BFFs. Reynold I adore and we have great chemistry even though we've talked less game, and similar just less so with Alexis and Sherri...... so seriously. For now my long term plans are probably to stick with the folks I like on this tribe?

Granted I've never met Laura, Allie, or Hope. I can't count them out, I like to be fair. But yeah.

I think making too many long term plans can be a detriment though. I prefer keeping options open and attacking things somewhat round-by-round..... but thankfully the list of who I want out next is long and very clear.

I think thats a good approach. Knowing who you don't want to work with is just as important!

I thought tonight might be a double from F20->F18, making three tribes of six tomorrow... but I also feel like we would have known if that were the case beforehand.

Maybe it's just singles for the rest of the week, and a swap to three tribes of six after tomorrow night? I'm checking the old season stats and the merge seems to happen at 14 now - especially in bigger seasons.

Not that I don't have my sights set on winning, or single digits at the very least, but I think we all have that baseline anxiety that'll go away after the merge milestone. And I feel great about my position (ish) and my game thus far, but there's still that stress of like... I didn't wait all this time to leave any time soon type of thing. And I didn't get in all those famous fights with Caryn/etc. over the years to come back and not be my ~baddest bitch~ self here. Or at least a force. Or just crazy after too long, I'd take that too.

Oh and supposedly we're good to get rid of Hannah if we lose?

I thought maybe it was only awkward between us because of my Harry Potter rant in 2018. But from what I've heard she hasn't been super social with some folks here. So it's one of those natural votes. But it also makes sense for both myself and "the Fans" on a strategic level too, because she was in power on OG Te Poto. I've said it in previous updates too, but yeah, we really need to weaken that faction while we have the chance.

So Matt and Tai are considering a 5-4 split on Hannah and Aurora... which would be awkward for my relationship with Aurora, but it has to be done too.

One thing is... I feel great with Sherri, Alexis, and Reynold. But we've never made any game deals. So I'm just going on individual friendships there and trusting they're being honest with me.

Michael and I have a game bond though. But even he can be a bit guarded at times.

Anyway. One thing that may be concerning is.... with Hannah especially, I have NO idea what she wants to happen if we lose? We never talk game. With Aurora we exchange kind of, "oh I guess it's up to the fans but they like us" but I don't even have that with Hannah. Who does she want out? The fact that I don't know is a bit worrying, because in theory as "the vets" we would know. And the reason I haven't told her is because I want her out lol. I'm just hoping, for my own sake, it's not mutual.

I'm just rambling to pass time before the challenge lol...
