2.) The most surprising thing was probably the extent of how riled up Liz got over on Puka. I knew she was mad, but I didn't know the extent to which is kinda put off everyone over there. I knew having us both in the game as the number of pairs dwindled was going to be a bit of a hurdle for me, but I didn't know how big the hurdle would be. I was shocked to find out that Liz also advertised how close we were and said I'm the only person she trusted. WHY, LIZ?! WHY?! I thought her giving Jess immunity was a smart move in terms of distancing us, but it doesn't seem to have had an effect. I am relieved that it doesn't seem to have affected my personal relationships with Sherri, Reynold, or Matt, however I'm sure their plans surrounding working with me have changed significantly as a result of this. It's all going to be a challenge to navigate.
3.) I believe I answered this in my above response to Cochran, but I don't feel the desire to ever work with Tai. I just do not trust him one bit. I also don't see an opening to work with Stephannie ever, but who knows...there's a whole merge yet to be played, and anything can happen. I mentioned adaptability, but with that comes flexibility, so I don't think it's smart to write off anyone.
4.) I'm going to be honest, I feel like I do not have a solid read on this game--my game-awareness feels like it's lacking in comparison to how I've felt in other games I've played. I think that's due to the fact that everyone here (except maybe Allie) has fairly strong social game, so it's hard to gauge exactly where I stand or who is playing me. Sometimes I think I'm being too cautious, and sometimes I don't feel like I'm being cautious enough. And the partner twist + returnee element of this game has made gauging relationships throughout my time in the game a little more difficult. I also think I need to do a better job looking at everything from my opposition's (in this case, every single person I talk to) perspective before I reveal information or propose a specific plan and think about how exactly they might respond first.

1. So first off, How are you feeling? Did you expect such a low-key day yesterday? How are you taking advantage of the simplicity?
2. What’s the most surprising thing you’ve learned since merging into one tribe? Any new information cause you to re-evaluate your short or long term strategies?
3. How far forward are you looking now that you’ve made the merge? Are you more of the “one step at a time” type or the “plan out every detail” type? Is there anyone who you know you will NEVER work with (or NEVER betray)?
