1- Another new player out the door. How does Brandon's departure impact your game?

It's like entering post-apocalyptic world without rations. We lost our ration because we used it. That's how I feel. I would have prefered winning a few before having to go tribal...

2-Have you gotten to know your partner? Do you think your strategic goals for the game line up with theirs?

I think I can work with Aurora. We share information, and right now the plan is just to establish some trust so that hopefully we can work something good down the road. I would say in my survivor career, my most successful alliances had always been with people that had completely different alliances and didn't start on the same tribe as me. Who knows what this one could have in the bag? :)

3-Tell the lurkers a bit about your long term plans here. Who do you hope to take far in the game?

My long-term plan is not too detailed right now. But I would like to get rid of the cool clique of the original newbies, like Sherri, Michael and Matt for instance. I don't think I will trust any of them for as long as their cliques are running shit. I would like to work with Jessica, Aurora, and with Liz/Alexis only if they don't become too dangerous in numbers. I suspect Liz to have her nose in too many places, so it will depend how many of them she loses down the road. I think she works closely with at least one of the original Te Poto because she wouldn't have "flipped" as fast as she did if she didn't. I know in the beginning she said she really like Jed, so maybe it is him. And he also said he's Canadian, and I looked at her original season, and Elizabeth teamed up with Dean because he was Canadian ? Maybe I can see a parallel here ? Lol, the call! Parallel, you get that? Anyways... She could work with Jessica too as far as I know. Not that I would hate it though, because I want to work with her. So well, Liz is a bit of wildcard here and I need to keep an eye on who she works with, she worries me a little bit although I would still rather work with her than half the cast soo... Would I like to go to the end with Aurora? Why not? That would be epic in my mind. Never on a tribe together, and this partner twist changing things up? Why not? I would like that in all honesty. But I want to adapt to the game for now, and I think challenge wins are going to determine a lot where this game is gonna go. Like I said at the start of the game, pre-merge is constantly changing so you can't plan too much ahead during that portion of the game.

Oh, and also there is Hope whom I've been testing a few times, and she seems pretty trustworthy. I think she's someone I can work with too. I just don't know where she stands with the others though, and it could really change things. I need to figure out what Jessica's thinking to see what's on her agenda. Because if everyone have Hope on their radar, that will make it difficult.

ME : By the way, what are you thinking now? Do you have a plan?

JESSICA : My main plan right now is to not lose again. I’m terrified there’s going to be a swap tomorrow after tribal. That’s what happened last season. And it would make sense because we will be at 18 so they can split up into 3 tribes of 6

JESSICA : So we really can’t afford to lose another person.

ME : No there are two more to go before 18

JESSICA : Tonight and tomorrow night

ME : Right

At this moment, I was like, ok girl, seriously though, don't tell me you're not thinking about the vote lol. I don't like this. I know we haven't had any serious vote to establish trust, but the more you speak like this the more I'm having goosegumps.

ME : But let's say we lose again, you think we're fine?

JESSICA : As in me and you?

ME : Yes

JESSICA : I do think we will be alright

JESSICA : But I need to know where your head is at. Do you trust anyone other than me?

ME : I would say I tested Hope a bit in last few things and she seems to be trustworthy, but I don't know who others are aligned with, so although I want to trust them, I don't want to put my full trust in them. I really grew closer to you so far.

So my brain is like, I need to get something that includes Jessica in it because I don't want to be on a different page than her, you know what I mean?

JESSICA : I agree.. I’ve grown close to you as well and want to work with you. But we need more.

ME : Yes I want to work with more people, I feel like sure, that's good to have a trust with someone, but that's not what makes numbers

JESSICA : Hope and I finally connected last night and I feel better about her. Laura is someone I have yet to talk to other than like ‘hey, how are you?’ It’s very dry.

ME : My convos are a little dry too with her, but I don't think she's much a threat though, I think she scared to play the game.
That will bite her in the butt at some point though

JESSICA : It will. And I honestly don’t know what will happen if we do go to tribal again. The easy boots are gone.

ME : The game is about to heat up yes, and with what you told me last night, I'm worried it will

JESSICA : Remind me lol

ME : You told me Missy was trying to gather a numbers or something like that. You said that came from Liz

JESSICA : I did hear that and I do trust Liz. So it’s something to keep in mind but also keep to ourselves.

ME : I haven't told anyone that. Not even to Liz

JESSICA : Missy is a hard player. So the less information she has to work with, the better

ME : Yeah I know what you mean

ME : So you feel good with Liz ?

JESSICA : I do. And I think Hope is someone we should give a chance too. That would make 4 which is pretty good with only 9 people left on the tribe.

ME : Yes I think that too. This is actually the three people I feel better about also. And I have no problem if we worked with Aurora too once we get a chance. She looks solid

JESSICA : I think you got yourself a good partner.

ME : My biggest concern though, and keep that to yourself, is some of the newbies on the other tribe, I think they're all tight and I don't want to merge vs all of them. Imagine swapping in a tribe of six with all of them, I would cry.

JESSICA : I think that’s exactly why there will be another swap before the merge.

ME : Yea

JESSICA : I see your concern but we’re still a long way from the merge lol. Let’s worry about what we can control and that is getting a solid group together.

ME : Yea, we have no power over this, only a tribe here to think about. But if we can get a group together, I think we could do well.

JESSICA : Are you sure you’re good with the 4?

ME : 100%

JESSICA : Okay! This is exciting!

ME : I am excited too hahah

What do I think of this alliance? I honestly would feel good with this. I feel like that's the kind of group I would like to work with. My only worry is that it would be too good to be true. Only a tribal council would really put it to the test. But Jessica seems to be straight-forward so far, and because this is the kind of alliance I would like to have, I'm going to go with it :) My worry like I said is Liz having her nose in too many places, but that's not a concern for now, our concern should be this tribe, and how to survive. And I trust Hope too, so I'm actually gladly surprised she could be thrown into the alliance just like this. But hey, I mean, I'm smiling, with a little bit of stress behind the smile, but I wanted an alliance like this one, and it includes the people I would have picked for my ideal one. So let's play.

Hope and Liz are both down with the alliance. Which is good. Now that's only 4/9. My plan would be kick Missy, and save Laura. This would give us a 4-3-1 majority next round instead of 4-4. But I won't talk about it too fast, I'll see if they come up with it first.
